Spring 2013

The Spring has brought a change in location and energy, with an expansiveness appropriate for the season. The meadow offers much room to run and play, the forest paths a place to explore and make cozy dens, and the tall hill a mountain to climb. The second half of our mornings are spent at the stream, which is full of life and movement (and children!).

Spring Forest Friends Homeschool Program

Spring is coming, spring is coming,

birdies build your nest.

Weave together straw and feather,

doing each your best.

Daisies, lilies, and daffodillies

now are coming through.

Spring is coming, spring is coming,

all around is fair.

Shimmer, glimmer on the river,

joy is everywhere.

The Spring Session of Forest Friends Homeschool Group will begin in early April. We'll meet weekly and spend the morning hiking, playing, singing, and exploring in the woods. The program is geared toward 4-7 year-olds and their families (siblings are welcome). A few spaces are available; for more info, please email GNHWaldorf@gmail.com.
